While attending Burning Man in 2000 I met a like-minded group of artists who encouraged me to experiment with a new art form: Fire Sculpture.
I was so inspired by my trip, that when I returned to Atlanta I immediately began to forge the elements for these new pieces. I now have a collection of nine fire sculptures that are 5 to 8-feet tall and four 20-foot towers.
The premise of the fire sculptures is a flower: by day they are at rest and at night they bloom.
The fire sculptures are most effective when assembled as a group, and when space permits, all nine sculptures, to form a Fire Garden at art shows and events. This display has led to requests to provide this unique display of light, sound and heat for corporate and private events. Naturally, I’m eagerly requested during the cooler months!
Please contact me if you would like a Fire Garden displayed at your next event.
