My studio is located at The B-Complex, an artist-owned community in downtown Atlanta. The 25-foot ceilings give me the opportunity to create large sculptural and ornamental architectural work in a variety of materials. I particularly like working with stainless steel, bronze, copper, and mild steel. Depending on the project, I am able to add an array of brushed patterns and colorful patinas to accent each unique piece.
This is an overhead show of my studio, taken when I began to create Pupula Arboretum (bottom right).
Hammering a piece of steel over the anvil, which was removed seconds earlier from the blazing hot forge.
Working in the studio on my 1911 50lb Little Giant Power Hammer.
The hammer was bought from its original owner, making me only the second owner of this striking piece of machinery.
